Memorial services for Betty Dianne Myers, 78, of Gilmer, Texas, will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, June 22, 2026, in the chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home with Brandon Dodd officiating. Dianne was born on April 2, 1948, in Cotton Valley, Louisiana, to Robert Harold Waller and Betty Jo Balentine, and entered into peaceful rest on June 14, 2026, at her home in Gilmer, Texas. She lived her life with faith at the center of everything she did, always striving to walk in the eyes of the Lord. Her greatest joy was her family. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, pouring endless love, wisdom, and care into each of them. She found happiness in the simple things, a cozy little home she cherished, a peaceful life, and the comfort of being surrounded by those she loved. An exceptional homemaker, she created a warm and welcoming place where family always came first. Her legacy is one of faith, love, selflessness, and devotion. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and will be remembered for the love she gave so freely and the family she treasured above all else. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Christine Dianne Larkin, and Jerry Daniel Echols (Donelle); siblings, Jeanette Darlene Hanson, Cheryl Lynn Waller, and Angel Dawn Latham; and grandchildren, Christopher Larkin, Sean Larkin, Crystal Mugford (Cody), Shelby Stang (Nick), Madelyn Maguire (Grady), Dayton Echols (Tori), and Jerryn Echols; Great Grandchildren, Emma and Easton Mugford, Reagan Echols, Declan and Whitley Maguire, Natalie, Sophia, Nathan, and Sawyer Stang, Carson Brian, Caden, and Kace Cunningham, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Dawn Echols; Father, Robert Harold Waller; brother, Robert Wayne Waller; grandson, Sean Larkin; nieces, Carly Elizabeth Spring and Kenya Darlene Hanson; nephew, James Robert Spring; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Ray Hanson. The family will be accepting flowers in memory of Dianne at McWhorter Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in her honor, as diabetes was a lifelong battle she faced with strength and grace.
