Bryan was born to Richard and Nancy Wallace Atchley on April 29, 1966, in Gladewater, Texas and passed away September 27, 2018 in Gilmer. Bryan was the strongest, bravest gentleman we ever knew. He was fun loving with a happy & contagious spirit. He was a true cowboy that was never afraid to stare a 2000 pound bull in the eyes or help a cowboy who was down in the arena or just down on his luck. He passed down his cowboy ways to his children and nephews as well. We know he had God on his side of the chute during this journey. We ask that you pray he has a peaceful ride on a good horse that don’t buck, a comfortable saddle that won’t slip, a full can of snuff in his pocket, his best hat, his boots and Garcia spurs on as he leaves this arena of life. He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife; Cindy Atchley, Sons; Brandon Atchley and Brant “Bull” Atchley, Daughters; Brittany Kulhanek and Chloe Atchley, Father; Richard Atchley, Brother; Brad Atchley, Sisters; Lisa Bell, Billie Jo Pelster and Mattie Atchley. He is also survived by his uncle; Glynn Atchley and 7 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brandon Atchley, Brant “Bull” Atchley, Christopher Bell, Corey Stewart, Brody Reynolds and Ricky Reynolds. Honorary pallbearer will be Brad Atchley, Blake Bell, Glynn Atchley and Paul Perrymore. Please visit Bryan’s on-line registration book at www.mcwhorterfh.com to leave a memory for the family.
