Funeral Services for Carol Jean Keller, 85, of Gilmer, Texas, will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in the Chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home with Brother Mike Kessler and Dr. Lewis King officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at McWhorter Funeral Home. Carol Jean was born February 22, 1936, to Paul Franklin and Christine Elizabeth Warren Insall in Upshur County, Texas, and passed from this life January 31, 2022. She worked as the office manager at (Arkla) Centerpoint Energy for many years before her retirement. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Johnson and Denise Sewell and her husband, Larry; grandchildren, Michael Swann, Cole Johnson, Rendi Glover, Cody Sewell, and Noah Blu Sewell; great grandchildren, Cason, Taryn, McKenna, Lilly, Jordan, Kalyn, River, Brooklyn, Beckett, Caston, and Canyon. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Nevell Greg Keller in 1993, and James Buck Martin in 2018; and her grandson, Jesse Johnson in 2020. Pallbearers are Tom Warren, Maurice Warren, Donnie Smith, Rick Mask, Jared Poe, Brett Meyers, Hunter King, and Bill Warren.
