Dorothy Mae Lansdale

Graveside Services for Dorothy Mae Saxon Lansdale, 90, of Gilmer, Texas, will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Park with Brother Dicky Mauk and Brother Wayne McKay officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service at the cemetery. Dorothy was born May 18, 1931, to Henry Guy and Lula Mae Tanton Saxon in Wood County, Texas, and passed from this life March 29, 2022, in Gilmer, Texas. Dorothy married Gussie Junior Lansdale, June 5, 1948. She was a member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shirley Hoffpauir and her husband, Jack; daughter-in-law, Debbie Lansdale; grandchildren, Thomas Lansdale, John Hoffpauir and his wife Jessica, and Kerri Hoffpauir Ramos and her husband, Johnny; great grandchildren, Alexandrea Hoffpauir, Abigail Hoffpauir, Kaylynn Miles, Ty Hoffpauir, Joesie Hoffpauir, D. J. Hoffpauir, Angel Ramos, and Johnny Ramos III; and her great great grandchild, River McWaters. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gussie Junior Lansdale in 2016; son, Larry Lansdale; daughter Ronda Gail Lansdale; brother, Lother Saxon; and her sister, Lorene Saxon.
