Mitch Modisette

August 8, 1983 - May 28, 2018

Funeral services for Mitchell Modisette, 34, of Hallsville will be held 11 am Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Johnson and Bro. Charles Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday, June 1, 2018 at the funeral home. Mitch was born August 8, 1983 in Dallas to Randy and Janis Orendoff Modisette and passed away May 29, 2018 in Hallsville. Mitchell Modisette married Lisa Whiteside March 15, 2017. Mitch was a welder by choice, he loved his craft of making separate pieces of metal become one solid piece. Welding was an art for him. He was also very passionate about smoking and grilling different foods, also an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Modisette; daughter, Kaylea Modisette; son, Griffin Gesik; parents, Randy and Carol Modisette also Randy and Jan Farr; sisters, Heather Modisette-Terra, Lindsay Modisette, Brittany Huckaby and her husband Jonah, and Haley Farr; paternal grandparents, C.W. Modisette and Lawan & James Riley; maternal grandparents, Dottie Hodges, James & Darlene Farr; brothers in law, Eugene Whiteside, Jeff Whiteside and his wife Shone; nieces, Emma and Azlee Whiteside, nephews Josiah Huckaby, Jeremiah Huckaby, and J.D. Whiteside. Pallbearers will be David Staples, Matthew Ramsey, Chuck Sullivan, Marty Usery, Hunter Brumble, Griffin Gesik, Jeff Whiteside, and Ryan Sandmeyer.
