Nathan Brad Atchley

Nathan Brad Atchley, 53, of Gladewater, Texas, was born February 25, 1969, in Gladewater, Texas to Richard Nelson and Nancy Jean Wallace Atchley and passed from this life April 26, 2022, in Longview, Texas. Private services will be under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home at a later date. Brad loved the simple things in life, his friends and family, his dog LuLu, his old truck, & a big bowl of ice cream. He had a laugh like no other. It was a laugh that would cheer you up on your worst day! He was a talented artist who could draw anything or turn a fork or a piece of wire into an amazing piece of art or jewelry. He always spoke his mind and didn't care who heard him. He was never afraid to fight and protect the people he loved. In his younger years, he was the Golden Gloves Champion boxer. He never lost his will to fight & remained a fighter until the very end. Those left to cherish his memory are his Father, Richard Nelson Atchley; son, Nathan Brad Atchley II and wife Liz Atchley; sisters, Lisa Bell, Mattie Atchley, and Billie Jo Pelster; Grandchildren, Sophie Atchley and Jackson Atchley; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and uncle, Glen Atchley.
