Rae Nell Loyd Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Graveside Services for Rae Nell Loyd, 72, of Gilmer, will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 23, 2022, in the Heritage Center at Kelsey Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service in the Heritage Center. Arrangements are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home. Rae Nell was born December 19, 1949, to Benjamin Cluff and Larcie Laurie Dawson Dixon, in Gilmer, Texas and passed from this life January 19, 2022 in Tyler, Texas. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer Cabrera and her husband, Albert; sisters, Dorotha Carroll and her husband, Kenneth, and Kay Johnson; grandchildren, Seth Petrick (Jayde Deshotel), Keisha Cabrera (April Munoz), Stephanie Cabrera (Steve Hodge), Lisa Rhoades, Cody Doyle, Preston Rhoades, Cason Rhoades, Sadie Doyle, and Mason Doyle; great grandchildren, Elianna Arango, Kapone Hodge, Kaydriana Cabrera, Kassidy Hodge, and K'Lynn Hodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Laurie Dixon; and her step-son, Brian Loyd. Pallbearers are Steven Wilson, Cary Fant, Chris Davis, Seth Petrick, Albert Cabrera, and Casey Hawkins. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Carroll and Eric Gibbs.
