Richard "Peanut" Pierce

Funeral services for Richard “Peanut” Pierce, 55, of Gilmer, are scheduled for 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in the chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home Jed Whitaker officiating. Interment to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm, Monday, July 5, 2021. Richard was born November 5, 1965, in Idabel, Oklahoma, to Rudolph James and Bonnie Jean German Pierce and passed from this life July 1, 2021. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Randi Gaines and her fiancé, Robert Davis, Raney Simcox and her husband, Michael, and Ragan Caffey and her husband, Clint; his parents, James and Bonnie Pierce; brother, Thomas Owen Pierce; sister, Jamie Hogue; grandchildren, Jaycee Gaines, Laney LaFleur, Cash Simcox, Brantley Caffey, Chance Simcox, and Paislee Caffey; and several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins in Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eva “Big Momma” and Willie “Big Daddy” German. Pallbearers are Michael Simcox, Robert Davis, Clint Caffey, Parker Hardy, Hunter Segers, and Adam Hogue.
