Mr. Thomas "Andy" Parker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services for Thomas “Andy” Parker ,57, of Big Sandy will be held 10a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at McWhorter Funeral Home with Kenny Richardson and Wade Maberry officiating. Interment will follow at Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. May 31, 2017 at the funeral home. Andy was born September 12, 1959 to Thomas and Edna Johnson Parker in Houston and passed away May 29, 2017 in Tyler. He was a lifelong member of the community. He married Tammy Jo Thompson July 18, 1980 at New Hope Baptist Church. Andy was a member of the Hawkins Masonic Lodge where he is a past Master. Big Sandy O.E.S. Past Patron and Gilmer O.E.S. also a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Andy worked for many years at Texas Eastman. Preceded in death by his father, Thomas M. Parker; sisters, Sylvia A. Parker and Cary I. King. Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Tammy Parker and his mother, Edna Parker. Pallbearers will be Larry Cuba, Garland Montgomery, Michael Orange, Les Langley, Scott Mooney, Robert Denton, Shawn Moore, and J.D. Richardson.
