Wanda Snow

November 12, 1939 - June 2, 2021

Funeral Services for Neil and Wanda Snow will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the Chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Thompson officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 9:00 am prior to the service. Wanda Snow, 81, was born November 12, 1939, in Gilmer, Texas to Troy and Euda Mae Green Maberry and passed from this life June 2, 2021. Neil Snow, 82, was born December 9, 1938, in Gilmer, Texas to James Edward and Frances Ruth Johnson Snow and passed from this life June 3, 2021. Neil and Wanda were high school sweethearts, married and raised their children in the Pritchett Community in a Godly, loving home. Neil worked for many years at Continental Can until his retirement. He worked many years as a contract grower for Pilgrim’s Pride until 2 years ago and also enjoyed raising cattle at their farm in Pritchett. Wanda was an Administrative Assistant at Union Grove ISD for many years until her retirement. Neil and Wanda were faithful members of First Baptist Church. Those left to cherish their memory are their children, April Haynes and husband Chett, Mark Snow and wife Debbie, Sharon Prince and husband Bo, and Todd Snow and wife Carmen; 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Wanda is also survived by her brother, Larry Maberry and sister-in-law Diana. Neil is survived by his sister, Jan Ray and brother-in-law Tommy. They were both preceded in death by their parents; Neil was preceded in death by his, wife Wanda; and by his sister, Pat Long and brother-in-law Tom. Pallbearers are Trent Haynes, Cameron Hawkins, Jason Covington, Richie Hwang, Sean Henninger, Gentry Snow, Preston Snow, Harrison Snow, Stefan Snow, Andrew Prahl, Tony Viramontes, David Snow, Clayton Wyman, and Carter Colvin. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to JoAnn Clinton, Caregiver; the staff at The Heights of Tyler; and the staff of Gilmer Nursing and Rehabilitation.
